How to get into Joshua Tree FREE

We don't often give enough emphasis on just how many benefits we are able to take advantage of and enjoy from using it. Not only is admission free of charge but the campgrounds and many other amenities are 50% off. The one time charge is just $80 and over the last 10 years we've probably saved thousands!

Once in the park you'll be able to enjoy the tranquil beauty of the park. Below you will find some of the places we were able to visit in just 24 hours.

00:30 The America the Beautiful Senior Lifetime Pass is available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents aged 62 or older for a one-time fee of $80, providing lifetime access to over 2,000 federal recreation sites, including national parks. It covers entrance fees for the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle. Covers entrance/standard amenity fees at National Parks, National Forests, and other federal lands. It also provides a 50% discount on some expanded amenity fees, such as camping or swimming.

The standard entrance pass without a lifetime pass costs $30 per private vehicle and is valid for 7 days. Visitors on motorcycle pay $25 while those entering on foot or by bicycle will pay $15 per person.

There are nine campgrounds with 523 campsites and two horse camps, within Joshua Tree, 4 of them need reservations that can be made through Recreation.gov. up to 6 months in advance.
