“Which DOT will you be?”
Now: thanks to all of you, translated into 24 languages. More to come.
Social Distancing, also known as Physical Distancing, in short means to stay at home when you can and to keep 2+ metres away from others in public. We know this is not new. The number of COVID-19 cases have continued to rise around the world, and although we seem to be seeing the benefits of collective physical distancing in British Columbia, we hope this video can remind you of its importance. This really is a marathon, not a sprint.
Stay home, stay well!
----------------------
COV-Ed is a new video series created by medical students based out of British Columbia, Canada and produced by UBC Faculty of Medicine. We aim to provide educational content about COVID-19 for the public.
COV-Ed is a division of the BC COVID-19 Medical Student Response Team (MSRT), a student-led organization coordinating initiatives to support BC physicians, public health authorities, and the community at large.
Our video content is curated and reviewed by our medical student team (credits below) and Dr. Mary Kestler, a UBC Faculty of Medicine faculty member and Infectious Disease doctor based out of Vancouver, Canada. All content matches guidelines for Social and Physical Distancing as set out by the BC Centre For Disease Control and World Health Organization as of April 12th, 2020.
This video has been translated into over 20 languages.
More to come. Stay tuned!
