‘La Pilat’: the new slope
The former off-piste downhill stretching across a rocky forest from the Seiser Alm to Ortisei was carefully prepared and developed to become a spectacular downhill slope cutting through a forest, featuring plenty of bends and turns with unique views over the entirety of Val Gardena.
Start: Ortisei-Seiser Alm gondola mountain station (46.557927, 11.664742)
Finish: Ortisei- Seiser Alm gondola valley station (46.572851, 11.670870)
Length 4,703 m, HM 778 m, average/max incline 16/60%

Enjoy the Legendary 8 ski-runs in Val Gardena...collect the points trough the APP and get the diploma "The Legendary 8". 1. Download the ‘Summitlynx’ APP (Android or iOS) and sign up. You can also use the browser version at https://www.summitlynx.com 2. Activate the GPS (position) function on your smartphone and open at the start and end of the slope the APP. Your phone should recognise the location and all you have to do is confirm/save it. 3. Enjoy the descent and the view! 4. Once you have skied all eight downhills, show the ‘Legendary 8’ performance on one of the three Tourist Offices in Val Gardena in order to receive your prize and your digital ‘The Legendary 8’ diploma.
