Hi guys! Today you will be learning how to care and grow Sphagnum moss. Sphagnum moss is a billowy, green, red, or purple type of moss. It can hold 20 times its own weight! Long-fibered sphagnum moss can hold 10 times itself. Sphagnum moss is usually a decoration for plants. Sphagnum moss must be kept wet at all times. If it is dry, it will turn very pale. Sometimes, it could even turn white! You can use coffee to fertilize the live Sphagnum moss. One other fertilizer for live Sphagnum moss is Maxea. If any other fertilizer is used you must flush out the excess fertilizer to prevent algae growth. Algae can kill live Sphagnum moss in a dramatic way. Remember to rate, comment, and subscribe.
