The ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 Plus was one of the most popular 1kW / 3hp electric outboard motors for dinghies, sailors and small fishing boats for years. But in 2026 the ePropulsion Spirit 2 was announced- it has twice as much continuous power (2kW / 5hp) plus a 3kW / 6hp boost mode, among many other improvements: a higher capacity battery that has a cable free connection to the motor, separate transom bracket with a shallow water tilt angle, upgraded color display, upgraded and extendable tiller, and more!
