Before necter stepped into the studio in 2019 to record Spilt Milk, they took a few steps back and recorded live versions of 4 of their songs. Three of which were on their ep, Bruise Your Ego.
Originally recorded in 2017, Bruise Your Ego was the second set of songs necter presented to the world. This 3 song EP was a real turning point for the band. After learning how they liked to play these songs live and solidifying the band's lineup, they decided to re-record these songs how they play them during live performances.
What better way to record them than with someone who was there for the beginning and creation of the original songs. Anthony Quartararo gave us an opportunity to have these songs recreated.
