🍄Bruising Webcap Mushroom (Cortinarius purpurascens)
Found in Mixed woodlands from August to November. 🌳
When young you will see the spider web-like structure cover the gills of the mushroom, as they mature the web will start to break away. The stem will have an orange/rusty band around it.
This mushroom could easily confused with the Wood Blewit (Lepista nuda) which is a culinary delight!
These are quite rare mushrooms to find but if you do find one make sure to just take in the beauty as they are not edible!
