This is Johnny Cash's first appearance at the Newport Folk Festival, he would then appear later in 1969 after Luther's death. I've seen that he appeared in 1965, but it may have been a typo.
For this performance, Johnny introduced a rather new song from an Album he released earlier that year, as well as some old Classics of country music:
