nLove his differences: the antidote to violence Marie Rose Moro, psychiatrist, psychoanalyst and medical doctor, talks about the importance of speaking his mother tongue, learn to cherish, notably through its own course.
Born in Old Castile in the province of Salamanca in Spain in a family of small farmers. I arrived in France in the arms of my mother at the age of nine months. Intrigued by philosophy, I did a double degree in medicine and philosophy first in Nancy and Paris. To reconcile these two passions, I specialized in psychiatry, baby, children and adolescents. Discovering the Parisian suburbs and revolted by prejudices and discrimination of those who live there and their children, I decided to specialize in transcultural clinic, an emerging discipline in France in the late 80s that combines anthropology and psychoanalysis better assist migrant families and their children. I have developed a way to treat children of migrants while respecting their language and stories that I developed first at Avicenne in Bobigny in the north Paris suburb and now at Maison de Solenn House adolescents Cochin Hospital.
