George Clooney: "Well, it's really exciting, you know, I've mostly failed at the activism that I was trying to do. It's pretty exciting when at, this year my wife actually got some of those guys from Darfur and put them on trial. It's really exciting for me because I get to see some conclusion and the things that I did wasn't very successful at. And so tonight is a culmination of that, you know."
Amal Clooney: "You created so much awareness about what was happening. It just takes a long time sometimes to actually get people arrested. And I had the privilege of representing Darfuri survivors in court. And actually, one of the people who we worked with is being honored tonight from the group iACT, they are amazing.
(Reporter: So, you completed George's activism, in sense?)
George Clooney: " Well, she's - she's been doing all of her own. She didn't need to complete any of mine, but she did help me out. You know, she tossed me a bone every once in a while, you know I mean."

(Reporter: "I recall back in the day you and your dad were there (Darfur) and it was a family thing."
George Clooney: "Sure"
(Reporter:  " Is that something that you're now instilling in your twins, this sense of social justice?)
George Clooney: "I think every parent has does the best they can with that. Our goal would be that, you know, to whom much is given, much is expected. And I would expect them to really care and pay attention to other people in the world and people who weren't as born as lucky as they were." .
Amal Clooney: "We're lucky I think that they're seeing the world, they're traveling, and we encourage them to ask a lot of questions and just be kind and look out for others. I think at five it might be a lot to expect them to be…."
George Clooney: "Lawyers."
Amal Clooney: "…socially active. But yeah, we'll see."
(Reporter: Lawyers or actors, what is your hope?)
George Clooney: "Well, I played, I played a few lawyers."
Amal Clooney: "Two."
George Clooney: "So, we have…"
Amal Clooney… "So, we have a good mix of both tonight."
George Clooney: "Yeah, exactly."

George Clooney: "No, not that. I'll just introduce him. I'm not singing. Nobody lets me sing. Do you know that?"
George Clooney: "Yeah."
