Описание: 70 year old Wilfred Sykes, once the largest and longest boat on the Great Lakes, leaves Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to return to her duties after winter layup. In the first sequence, she turns right out of her berth to go out to the turning basin, giving a Master Salute on her horn as she passes first boats her size (Munson, Callaway, American Courage, and Blough) and then 3 "footers"--the James Barker, Burns Harbor, and Paul R. Tregurtha (now the longest and largest). Next, as twilight falls, she passes through the Oregon bridge in Sturgeon Bay enroute to Lake Michigan. Finally she enters the very narrow canal to the lake, giving her fans another Master Salute after a crew member asked if they wanted one (are you kidding???). Much of the extraneous sound has been deleted, including the RC airplane that a thoughtless person decided to fly right in front of all the photographers and videographers assembles opposite Bay Shipbuilding. Some people!!!
