Republicans in the United States “love Florida Governor Ron DeSantis”, claims broadcaster and commentator Julie Hartman.
Her remarks come as President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth, is rumoured to be replaced by Mr DeSantis.
“When it comes to Trump, we can expect the unexpected,” Ms Hartman told Sky News host Gabriella Power.
“Though I think Pete Hegseth wants to stick this out.”
