Описание: Hey guys this video is going to be about how to install a digitrax dcc decoder into an ho scale locomotive that is not equipped with sound, but is equipped with a DCC 9 pin quick plug by from athearn, or just th regular 8 pin slots on the motherboard itself that you plug the decoder into. I use the digitrax zephyr DCS50, and a digitrax DH123D or DH123PS decoder. All DH123 decoders work the same way when it comes to programming. DH163 type of decoders i believe will work the same way as well, just with a few more features, as far as i know. You need to have the locomotive on a programming track for it to work this way. If you dont then it will get really messed up and you could possibly burn up the electronic decoder, which is bad. look for my other video about changing CV values to help you figure out the further programming. I am still learning about this DCC stuff so feel free to shoot me an email asking a question or helping me learn more about the DCC system.
