Glomerulonephritis can be caused by a variety of factors, including infections, autoimmune disorders, and certain medications. Some common symptoms of glomerulonephritis include blood in the urine, protein in the urine, swelling in the legs or face, high blood pressure, and reduced urine output.

Diagnosis of glomerulonephritis involves a combination of physical examination, blood tests, urine tests, and imaging studies such as ultrasound or CT scan. Treatment may involve medications to reduce inflammation, control blood pressure, and manage other symptoms, and in severe cases, dialysis or kidney transplantation may be necessary. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional if you suspect you have glomerulonephritis or any other kidney-related issue.
