Описание: The Hawks and North Reading had a pretty intense game and through 7 innings the score remained 1-1. North Reading came to bat in the 8th, and loaded the bases with no outs. A David Sampson strike out. A heads up snap throw to third to pick off the base runner by Mike Ryan. The hawks got an easy ground out to end the top of the 8th. The Hawks got their chance in the bottom of the inning with a lead off double by Mike Ryan. He was pinch ran for and a textbook bunt moved the runner to third with one out. Kyle Goulet came to the plate and on the second pitch coach called for a suicide squeeze. The ball was high and Kyle did his job and fouled it back. On the next pitch, the N. Reading pitcher balked, giving the runner home plate for the win. The Hawks got some help tonight, and I think I know who was watching over them! Hats off to North Reading. They are a good team and play the game with class.
