G Scale K-28 Upgraded with a BLU-4408 Wireless Decoder

"Here is my G Scale K-28 by LGB/Aster that I have equipped with a SoundTraxx Blunami BLU-4408, CurrentKeeperII, and the 50 x 90mm speaker P.N. 810090. Chose this setup due to SoundTraxx having recordings of this actual locomotive and for the Bluetooth control to run off any outdoor setup. The Blunami completely replaced all of the original electronics and was mounted in the firebox. Designed and 3D printed a custom baffle for the speaker which was mounted inside the smokebox. The installation is completely contained inside the locomotive, with the tender connection only carrying power for the doghouse and rear lights. The sound exits the locomotive at the drivers and not the tender which makes it sound like a real locomotive." -Jerry
