In April 2018 we were exploring London. After a fairly long tube ride we got off just outside the old abandoned Highgate Station. The station has a lot of history all the way back to the late 1800s when it was first built and opened to the public.
Over time the station went through a number of transformations, including improvements during world war 2, and was eventually abandoned in the 1950s.
The station is quite hidden, unless you know it's there it's unlikely you'll ever see or pay attention to it. We love the fact that it's down in a valley and hidden from the public as it makes for a nice relaxing explore, especially on a hot summers day!
