China blasts 2 Beidou navigation satellites atop Long March-3B rocket to complete its global network

Описание: JUST IN : The 59th and 60th satellites of the #BeiDou system are launched at 9:14 a.m. (Beijing Time) on by a Long March-3B carrier rocket and the Yuanzheng-1 (Expedition-1) upper stage attached to the carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwest China's Sichuan Province, Sept. 19, 2024.
Launch success has been confirmed. Interestingly these 2 CAS-built navigation satellites were reported as the last pair of the "global network" Beidou-3 series for China's navigation satellites constellation, so maybe the next ones will be of the 4th generation.
