If you are lucky enough to be in Madrid at the middle of May, you can enjoy the fantastic Fiesta de San Isidro the patron of Madrid. A five day festival ending on the 15th of May.
During the five days, locals take to the streets to celebrate in the 'Pradera of San Isidro' and also to enjoy music, dancing and Madrid cuisine in various locations in the city.
Enjoy the food, music, dancing and traditional costumes.

A mediados de mayo Madrid presenta su cara más festiva y acogedora. Los madrileños celebramos a nuestro patrón, San Isidro Labrador (su día es el 15 de mayo), haciendo gala de nuestra principal seña de identidad: la hospitalidad. Celebraciones tradicionales, como la romería en la Pradera de San Isidro o la feria taurina de San Isidro, y gastronomía típica, como la limonada y las rosquillas listas y tontas, conviven con una atractiva programación musical y de espectáculos que se reparte por todo Madrid.
