Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is a popular attraction at Disney California Adventure Park, inspired by the lovable character Mater from the Pixar movie "Cars." The ride is located in the Cars Land area of the park and offers a fun-filled experience for guests of all ages.
The concept of Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is reminiscent of a classic whip ride, where guests board trailers pulled by miniature tractors. These tractors, affectionately named "tow trucks" after Mater himself, spin and whirl around in a lively square dance while towing their passengers behind them.
The ride is set to a catchy country-western soundtrack featuring original songs performed by Mater himself, voiced by Larry the Cable Guy. As the tractors whirl around the junkyard, guests are treated to Mater's humorous commentary and pun-filled jokes, adding to the whimsical atmosphere.
