A reading by Professor Adam Roberts at Royal Holloway University of London of his story 'Keep It Dark', featured in Comma's recent Science into Fiction anthology, Thought X.
Adam's story is based on the Olbers' Paradox thought experiment. Thought X takes science fiction writers and pairs them with scientists and philosophers to create scientifically informed short stories. Each story is accompanied by an afterword from the scientist explaining the theory behind it, in an accessible way. Professor Stewart Boogert, who took part in the discussion with Adam, was one of the contributors to the anthology, he wrote the afterword for Andy Hedgecock's story, which is based on the Grandfather Paradox.
