After the FBI took 10 days to release surveillance footage from the night Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her home in Tucson, Arizona, many are wondering why it took over a week for the public to view the video.

Criminal defense attorney Steve Greenberg joined The National News Desk to discuss the latest developments in the case of the "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie's mother.
It's pretty shocking that it took this long for them to come up with this video," Greenberg said.
Greenberg said the reason is because the Guthries did not have access to the footage under the Nest camera subscription they had.
So apparently was fairly complicated. Although I think ten days is an extraordinarily long period of time to recover any video," Greenberg said.
The FBI has also been calling the individual in the video a "subject" and not a suspect.
"Well, they don't want to call him a suspect, because as soon as you label someone a suspect, then certain rights are going to kick in. When you come in contact with them, they're going to say that you should have given them Miranda, if you start questioning them right away," Greenberg said.
Authorities said Nancy Guthrie was last seen inside her home in Arizona on Jan. 31. She was reported missing shortly before noon the next day when she did not show up to church.
