Join us as we head down one of the draws that leads to Muddy Creek. James was exploring this same area earlier when he came across the skull—also known as a “dead head”—of a majestic desert bighorn sheep. In Utah, collecting dead heads isn’t allowed without proper authorization. This helps the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources determine whether an animal may have been illegally taken. Today we are heading back down so that we can submit an application to the state to get approval to legally collect the Desert Bighorn deadhead.
