In this three part series we will explore Eugene Bagashov's concept for an Ultra Deep Biosphere as the cause for earthquakes and potentially an alternative way of creating our hydrocarbons. We will examine how we have underestimated the ability of microorganisms to survive at incredible odds and how these could potentially have formed a habitable zone deep below the ground. Could this zone be responsible not only for generating energy releases which might cause earthquakes but also for a way of generating hydrocarbons deep below the surface.
In Part 2 we will examine what evidence there is to support this concept.
