Have A Look At BMW G310 GS Specifications:-
BMW has launched the G 310 GS at Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The G 310 GS is an entry level adventure tourer from BMW. It is designed to tackle the urban jungle, highways and some off-road terrain. Its stubby front beak, radiator shrouds, headlamp cowl, tank design and a luggage rack are reminiscent of its elder sibling, the R 1200 GS. Similar to the R 1200 GS, the smaller adventure tourer offers a relaxed and slightly raised seating posture, perfect for long hauls. However, this a soft roader and hence gets a set of alloy wheels, instead of spoked wheels that can tackle off-road terrain efficiently.

Powering the G 310 GS is a backwards-tilted 313cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which produces 34PS of power and 28Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Based on the same chassis as the R, the adventure-based G 310 GS employs a long-travel suspension setup. The suspension travel has been increased by 40mm as compared to the roadster for better off-road capabilities. Braking duties are handled by a single 300mm disc with a 4-piston caliper up front, while the rear gets a single-piston caliper clamped onto a 240mm disk. In contrast to the G 310 R, ABS is switchable for the baby GS. The G 310 GS employs dual-purpose tyres that measure 110/80-19 in the front and 150/70-17 at the rear. While the international models are offered in two seat options - 835mm and 850mm, the Indian variant might get a seat height of 820mm. The BMW G 310 GS will go up against the Royal Enfield Himalayan, Kawasaki Versys-X 300 and the KTM 390 Adventure, which is coming in 2019.
