We made some really good progress on the carport - it’s coming along nicely, and I’m happy with how it’s shaping up. A nice surprise was spotting baby birds in the birdhouse I hung up last fall. I also started painting the old garage, which feels great to finally get underway.
My friends from Germany came over for dinner. We took the boat out to a nearby island on the lake for some food and fresh air. They also helped me spread soil over the parkslide, though it looks like I’ll need to order more - the battle against the parkslide continues.
