In a major security alert ahead of #RepublicDay celebrations, a huge consignment of explosive materials was recovered from Badarpur Railway Station in Assam’s border district of #Sribhumi, triggering heightened vigilance across the railway network. One person has been detained in connection with the seizure, officials confirmed on Thursday.
The explosive haul was recovered by the Government Railway Police (#GRP) during a routine security check on Platform No. 1 of Badarpur Railway Station. Acting on standard preventive protocols, GRP personnel conducted a thorough search of a young man moving suspiciously within the station premises, leading to the recovery.
