Описание: Tim Taira shares is interesting experience as one of over 127,000 Japanese-Americans to be placed in Interment Camps against their will during WWII. Taira spent four years of his childhood at Jermone and Rohwer in the Arkansas Delta and specifically remember his experiences there in detail.

Taira's father served as the camps doctor. The family from Fresno, California lost everything when they were shipped to Arkansas in blacked out trains, and the vast discrimination they went home to after the war is unimaginable.

The purpose of this interview and Tim's story is to shed light on a dark chapter of American history that is often forgotten.
