Pattern Difficulty = EASY
Recommended Fabric = The best thing about this pattern is the versatility. You can choose any type of woven fabric, Heavy or Light depending on the season you are in and the occasion.
In this tutorial I use a brocade fabric.
Trimmings = Binding
Equipment Needed = Sewing Machine, Zipper foot, Matching/contrasting Thread, Pins, Fabric/Paper Scissors, Fabric Marker, Measuring Tape & Ruler.
The Mena pattern Is a great Kimono Jacket to make for all home sewers. I love this pattern as it can be worn and created in different ways. Your choice of fabric will change the look of the Kimono. Use the kimono as a canvas and add your own personal style. Add extra trimmings and embellishment to really stand out.
