Presenters:
Anne Hiatt is the co-Founder and General Director of the national organization Opera on Tap, which has the mission of bringing opera to new audiences by taking it to places where people least expect to experience it. She is the executive producer of the world’s first VR/AR, live and site-specific opera series, PARKSVILLE, the pilot of which won ‘Best VR Video’ at the NYC Indie Film Festival in May 2017 and premiered online as featured content on SamsungVR, October 2017.
Victoria Robertson is an opera singer and virtual reality producer. Her extensive knowledge in the theater and virtual reality space combine for a unique understanding of how to integrate technology with the arts.
Emily N. Wells has over 20+ years of performing arts industry producing and directing experience, with a significant focus on new works, community collaboration, and innovative artistic projects. She led Houston Grand Opera’s web series Star- cross’d to a bronze Telly Award for the pilot episode “Boundless” and is currently managing 13 commissions in various stages of development.
