About Head Instructor Lachlan Giles:
Lachlan earned his BJJ black belt in July 2012 and is the 2014 Australian Jiu-Jitsu Grand Prix Champion, multiple time Pan Pacific and Victorian Jiu Jitsu Champion and has competed at 4 World Championship events.
In 2014 he completed a clean sweep of the black belt division at Australia’s most prestigious competition, the Pan Pacific Championships, winning 4 gold medals. In 2015, he competed in the ADCC Championship.
In 2016 he won the ADCC Asian Trials and earned a spot at the 2017 ADCC Championship which will be held in Helsinki, Finland.
Outside of BJJ, he works as a physiotherapist, and is currently completing his PhD at La Trobe University.
