東三河 新城観光ホテル＜その2、周辺観光編＞ （愛知県新城市）2025.9.22

Описание: 愛知県新城市にある「新城観光ホテル」に宿泊して来ました。
以前から気になっていたホテルです。岩風呂が自慢とのことで浸かるのが楽しみでした。
画像のとおり温泉ではありませんがとても気持ち良くゆっくりゆったり浸かることができました。
夕食も朝食もボリュームがあり美味しかったです。
ホテル自体は古く設備も年季を感じますがとても気分よくゆっくりできました。ここはリピート有です！

さて！（その2）は周辺観光編です。
新城市と言えば、戦国時代の武将「武田信玄」の思い出の地となります。（
「武田信玄の西上作成」の最終到達地点が新城市にあった「野田城」とされています。）

※「西上作戦」とは・・・元亀3年（1572年）9月から元亀4年（1573年）4月にかけて行なわれた甲斐武田氏による遠征（一言坂・二俣城の戦い、三方ヶ原の戦い、野田城の戦い）のこと。

黒澤明監督作品「影武者」では「武田信玄がこの城を攻めた時、城から聞こえる笛の音に聴き惚れていたら鉄砲で狙撃され、その傷が原因で死亡したとの伝説」を元に制作されました。
現地に「狙撃した場所」と「狙撃された場所」があるということで是非とも見学したいと思い「野田城址」に行ってみました。
現地は画像＆映像のとおりです。「伝説」を現実と考えるととても感慨深い気持ちになりました。
「野田城址」を散策した後は「大野田城址」を散策しました。

※「大野田城」・・・1560年「桶狭間の戦い」で今川義元が討たれると、野田城主の菅沼定盈は家康に属したが、1561年今川軍の進撃で開城を余儀なくされ、一退西郷へ退いた。1562年定盈は野田城を夜襲で奪回し、大野田城を仮本拠に野田城の修築を始めた。1571年武田の家臣山県昌景、小笠原信嶺らの襲来で、定盈は大野田城に火を放ち、豊川対岸の西郷へ逃れた。大野田城の存在はわずか９年間である。現在は雑木林、竹林となり、曲輪、空堀、土塁が残る。（奥三河観光協議会HPより抜粋）

城址というより砦跡位の規模ですがとても整備されていて歩き回り易かったです。
「大野田城址」の後は「古宮城址」を散策しました。

※「古宮城」・・・戦国時代の武田氏による城郭で、三河の徳川家康攻略の拠点として築城されたと考えられている。長篠の戦いで武田氏の勢力が大きく後退した時期に廃城された可能性が高い。

財団法人日本城郭協会が定めた「続日本百名城」の一つとされており現地を確認すると見事な山城の遺構が残っていました。誰もいない城址をじっくり歩き回ることができました。
その後、共に「奥平貞俊」が築城した「川尻城址」や「亀山城址」も見学しました。

今回は歴史の旅となり、とても感慨深いものとなりました。
近々「武田信玄を巡る旅」を開催しようと思っています。

I stayed at the Shinshiro Kanko Hotel in Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture. It’s a hotel I had been curious about for some time. I was looking forward to soaking in their famous rock bath. As you can see in the pictures, it’s not a hot spring, but it was very relaxing and enjoyable to soak in slowly. Both dinner and breakfast were hearty and delicious. The hotel itself is old and the facilities show their age, but I was able to relax and enjoy my stay very comfortably. This is definitely a place I would revisit!
Well then! (Part 2) is about sightseeing around the area.
Shinshiro City is known as a place associated with the memories of the Sengoku-period warlord Takeda Shingen. (It is said that the final destination of Takeda Shingen's 'Western Expedition' was Noda Castle in Shinshiro City.)
*The 'Western Expedition' refers to the campaign carried out by the Kai Takeda clan from September 1572 (Genki 3) to April 1573 (Genki 4), including the battles of Hitokotonosaka, Futamata Castle, Mikatagahara, and Noda Castle.
Akira Kurosawa's film "Kagemusha" was based on the legend that "when Takeda Shingen attacked this castle, he was so mesmerized by the sound of flutes from the castle that he was shot with a musket, and that wound eventually caused his death."
Since there are spots on-site marked as 'the shooting location' and 'where he was shot,' I definitely wanted to see them and went to visit the Noda Castle ruins.
The site looks just like the images and videos. Thinking of the 'legend' as having really happened made for a very emotional experience.
After exploring the Noda Castle ruins, I also went to explore the Ōnoda Castle ruins.
※ 'Ōnoda Castle'... In 1560, when Imagawa Yoshimoto was defeated at the Battle of Okehazama, Suganuma Sadachika, the lord of Noda Castle, sided with Ieyasu. However, in 1561, he was forced to surrender when Imagawa's forces advanced and retreated to Saigō. In 1562, Sadachika recaptured Noda Castle through a night raid and began renovating it with Ōnoda Castle as a temporary base. In 1571, when Takeda vassals Yamagata Masakage and Ogasawara Nobumine attacked, Sadachika set fire to Ōnoda Castle and fled to Saigō across the Toyokawa River. Ōnoda Castle existed for only nine years. Today, it is overgrown with secondary forests and bamboo groves, but the baileys, dry moats, and earthen walls remain. Rather than a castle, it is more like the ruins of a fort, but it is very well maintained and easy to walk around. After visiting the 'Ōnoda Castle Ruins,' we walked around the 'Furumiya Castle Ruins.'
※ 'Furumiya Castle'... This castle was built by the Takeda clan during the Sengoku period and is believed to have been a base for attacking Tokugawa Ieyasu in Mikawa. It was likely abandoned when the Takeda clan's power greatly declined after the Battle of Nagashino.
Designated as one of the 'Continued Top 100 Japanese Castles' by the Japan Castle Foundation, the site retains impressive mountain castle structures. We were able to explore the ruins thoroughly without anyone else around. Afterwards, we also visited the 'Kawajiri Castle Ruins' and 'Kameyama Castle Ruins,' which were also built by Okudaira Sadatoshi.
This trip turned into a journey through history, making it a very moving experience. I am planning to hold a 'Tour following Takeda Shingen' soon.
