Описание: Australian Army has welcomed the first two Boeing AH-64E Apache helicopters at RAAF Base Townsville, ushering in a new era of attack helicopter capability for Australia, backed by an Australian workforce and supply chain.

Arriving onboard a U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster from Mesa Arizona the two Apaches were configured for flight after rolling off the Globemaster.

Australian Army Major General's Jeremy King and David Hafner details the arrival of the attack helicopter and introduction into Army service in the interview in the video.
