Part 2 of David Dana-Bashian's "16 Christian Mathematicians from the Reformation to Now". Apologies for slips in reading copy and answering questions spontaneously. A few sections of the Cantor and Euler segments, not affecting the rest of the presentation, contain errors and thus do not appear.
Some selected corrections:
The last works of Cantor were presumably published before, rather than after, Cantor died.
On the Gauss slide, the Copley Prize should be the Copley Medal instead.
More exactly, geodesy is the branch of mathematics dealing with the shape and area of the earth or large portions of it.
In “Further, seeking such a resignation would have been abhorrent to anything that Euler's unassuming character would have ever contemplated”, “resignation” should read “recognition” instead.
