I spread the table on the yard floor; hot bread, yellow oil, cool buttermilk, and fresh vegetables.
Delsa sits next to me, saying in her childish voice:
"Mom! Say Bismillah!"
With a smile, we raise our hands together and say:
Bismillah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 🌸
We take the first bite, hot bread with butter...
It tastes like heaven on earth.
Delsa laughs and I feel all the fatigue of the day leave my body.
Here, food is not just eating, it's a ceremony; a thanksgiving to the earth, to life, to God.

🌻 The meaning of rural life in Iran

Many people ask:
"Morning! Don't you get tired of this daily work? Of the lack of facilities?"
But I say:
No! Boredom doesn't make sense here.
Every day is full of useful feelings, full of nature's touch.
We may not have a fancy car, but our smiles are more genuine.
We may not live in an apartment, but our sky is bluer.
This video is an invitation for you to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a few minutes and experience the tranquility of rural Iran with me.
