How to hack and refill the new Blu Tank e-cig cartomizers.
Tools and parts required:
Power drill or drill press
Small drill bit (1/16").
3/8" heat shrink tubing
Scissors to cut heat shrink tubing
Syringe to refill tank
Your favorite e-juice
If you wish you may remove the original wrapping on the outside of the cartomizer by peeling it off before proceeding but it is not necessary.
1. Drill a hole in the side of the cartomizer tank about half way down being careful not to drill any deeper than is necessary to avoid damaging the air tube (chimney) that runs down the center of the cartomizer.
2. Sand lightly to deburr.
3. Refill cartomizer tank using syringe with any flavor ejuice you desire. I have repurposed an ink jet refill syringe in the example shown.
4. Cut a length of 3/8 inch heat shrink tubing just long enough to cover the tank.
5. Slip the tubing over the cartomizer trying to keep the drilled hole to the top to prevent spilling.
6. Using a lighter or heat gun to shrink the tubing which will seal the tank.
