In a world without certainty, how should we deal with the cacophony of information bombarding us? When philosophers say there's no such thing as objective truth, they mean there's no such thing as certainty. And as the cacophony of information from the media and technology becomes ever louder, how should we deal with this multiplicity? Must nuance be legislated, taught in schools, or left to the individual? Does knowledge stand a chance in a world of alternative facts?
