One of Malaysia’s best bars – currently No. 35 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars and a Top 10 Honoree in Tails of the Cocktail Foundation’s Best International Cocktail Bar – Asia Pacific category this year, rum-centric JungleBird is nestled in a location outside of Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Designed and built by co-owners Lolita Goh and Josh Ivanovic, the new space retains the bamboo-led styling of the original but sees the addition of natural lights, large lounge space and an all-day dining menu of Caribbean-inflected dishes.

Adding to their new menu is PAPA MAN-WELL, a non-alcoholic serve of one of the best classics, the Old Cuban. Made with Lyre’s Spirit Co White Cane Spirit and Classico Grande, together with freshly squeezed lime juice, house-made ginger syrup and a handful of fresh mint leaves, this unique combination gives it a distinct and contemporary flavour.
