When viewed from a different perspective, things like the MRT 3 being restricted by power issues from adding more trains can be seen in a more positive angle.
When news reports talked about commuters having to wait to enjoy the benefits of more trains in operation . . . many saw it a negative thing . . . But there is a silver lining to this dark cloud. . . The contractor signed up to maintain the trains of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3, Busan Universal Rail, Inc., reports that the MRT-3 now is operating at maximum capacity . . . It says 20 three-car trains are running during peak hours . . . the most that its current power supply system can accommodate . . . It also has two other trains in reserve, ready to take over from any of the 20 in operation . . . Two other trains are getting a complete overhaul . . . This compares to the 13 trains in operation before Busan, a Filipino-Korean joint venture, took over at the start of the year . . . The MRT is now reporting that lines, if there are still any at most stations, are shorter . . . Stations are less crowded . . .and there is a shorter waiting time for trains . . . The MRT 3 also reports that because its fleet of trains is running at full capacity it is serving more passenger and earning a bigger profit . . . The line has already earned a 2.3 billion pesos as of October . . . It earned the same amount for the entire year in 2015 . . . Busan says it will also begin focusing on the improvement of facilities at the stations, including toilets, lighting and other conveyances . . .
