The Incident: A high-alert situation unfolded early Monday morning at Sasaram Railway Station in Bihar as a sudden, aggressive fire broke out inside a coach of the Patna-bound fast passenger train stationed at platform number 6.

The Evacuation: The blaze, which erupted around 6:00 AM shortly before departure, triggered widespread panic on the platform. Passengers scrambled out, leaving bags behind as dense smoke filled the area. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported as emergency teams responded rapidly.

The Aftermath: Local firefighting units and railway personnel brought the flames under control within an hour. While the affected coach was completely gutted and decoupled from the rake to protect the rest of the train, RPF and technical teams have launched a detailed investigation into a suspected electrical short circuit.
