Because Medicare Supplement Plan F is going away in 2020 Medicare Supplement Plan G is the place to be.

Now, the reasons its going away, Plan F that is, is because its simply to expensive, and people aren't using it responsibly because you get what's called first dollar coverage.

That means you can go to the emergency room with the sniffles and get everything paid 100%.

With Medicare Supplement Plan G however you have a $185 deductible this year. Now that means if you go to the doctor, you're going to get billed up to $185 for the year.

That's a Part B Annual Deductible, what that means is its just a once per year calendar deductible before Medicare Part B pays, that you must pay, or your Medicare Supplement Plan G will pay.

So like I mentioned Medicare Supplement Plan G is 100% coverage after you meet that deductible and Plan F we almost never wrote anyway because Plan G was such a better value with almost the same coverage.

Great thing about Plan G and all the Medicare Supplement Plans is, there's no network you can go to any doctor, any specialist, or hospital in the country and get 100% coverage after you meet that deductible with a Plan G as long as they take Medicare.

So this Part B deductible changes each year, this year its $185 that'll go up probably slightly next year, we'll let you know what it is as we do all of our clients.

Now the most important thing to remember with Medicare Supplement Plan G or any of the Medicare Supplements is every single insurance carrier has the exact same coverage.

Now that means somebody might have Plan G for say$190 a month and somebody might have it for $130 a month.
