How to hunt shiny blacephalon ! INSANE SHINY BLACEPHALON REACTION! OVER 15HOURS HUNTING!

I know whats on your mind right now.
How do i get one?. Now worry not ,
Hunter Jin is here to help ya out.


1. First complete your trial challenge and be the champion,

Now before you go to Poni island to start shiny hunting , What method would you prefer ?.

A.) Soft Resetting.
L + R + Start for typical 3DS.
The moment you became champion ,
Go and meet Ms.Wicke at poni island gauntlet. (If youre planning to shiny hunt type null first. Save before reaching her.)
Talk to the ultra megalopolis people and the Blacephalon arc will begin.)

Now save , Encounter , Reset!.
at some point of this guide , I will inform you of the preparations ive done.
Including pokemons , Items and such.

B.) Run aways.
I prefer this one ,
Simply because i dont wanna fail it just because i pressed the start button accidentally. Such a shame to spend plenty of hours just to fail a shiny. (this is a longer process though. but ya know,
safer, Because you can pay attention more to it.)

2. Do the First rainbow rocket arc.
(Assuming you run away from all blacephalons during the blacephalon arc. or caught one. there must be atleast one run aways or one blacephalon left - before you reach the first RR Arc so you can go back and hunt it again.)

3. Now go where you met blacephalon,
And start the RA'S.

How to hunt ! , What method?.
Three words ! Repel Trick.
Use a level 60 Pokemon and lead with it, You can start with Type: Null or The Wormholes Legends.
Use Max Repel then Save before you start hunting and pretty much your all set!.


Now you know the basics , you all now have to watch out and make sure you don't fail it.
Because Blacephalon carries a recoil damaging move called Mind Blown and the Over powered ability beast boost !.
It may kill it self due to struggling, recoil. (Which i don't believe will happen ,
But its better to be safe than sushi.). or by wiping your team out because of +5 Special attack. Now what will you do?.

Fear not ! You may try --

My Method!
This is not the best method out there!
But ! It worked! Atleast for me.

First.
Slap a smoke ball to your Level 60 Pokemon. for faster hunting!.

Bring your master ball!.
( It will look good on a blacephalon , but we must save masterballs for much rarer or much more dangerous scenarios. this is one of those but you know if youre prepared you can save the masterball.)

1. A Level 60 Flash Fire pokemon.
I used Flareon.
First turn use Roto Catch! / Quick Ball.
For better odds come on!.

2. A Skill Swap , Magic guard ,
Alakazam / Skill swap , Magic Guard- Focus sash Kadabra. Alakazam outspeeds.
To avoid mind blown and The potential Beast boost sweep. Though you cant lead with a kadabra due to blacephalon outspeeding it. But you can lead with A level 60 Alakazam with Smoke ball , Skill swap magic guard.

and pretty much youre all set , throw as many balls and
You can bring couples of those mons to be sure , Then bring your false swiper!,
I have a scrappy pangoro at the back of my team for false swipe and A Smeargle with spore , False swipe , soak , and Slash.


Other methods.

3. You're Harvest Trick mon.

Lead with your level 60.
Harvest trick mon , Skill swap.
Trick. Pray. (better slap focus sash.)

4. Blissey / Chansey Heal pulse method.
Just spam heal pulse till the thing runs out of heal pulse. (Beware of beast boost. )


5. Primal Kyogre method.
Roto catch.
Skill swap with the mons ive mentioned.
Switch to your false swiper.


6. Masterball.
Just do it.
