If you are familiar with the GPS Cycling and Running app called Strava, you are in for a real treat as they have just released their newest update that makes route building even easier than before.

Although still in its test phase you are now able to create new routes directly from your mobile device. It is a great new innovation from Strava and director of communications, Andrew Vontz says that the new mobile feature is an excellent way to create commuting routes or safe and efficient ways to explore a city.

Without wasting anymore of your time, simply go onto your Strava app, click your profile and scroll right to the bottom where you will find the route tab. Click to open, then click the plus sign at the top, right hand corner on your mobile device, which will then open the GPS map and indicate your current location with a blue dot.

Simply doodle draw a circle around the area you would like to create your route and you are A for away. It might take a few times to get use to it, but we surely look forward to the upgraded version.
