對許多人而言，蕭邦是公認史上最浪漫的西方作曲家。蕭邦的三首名曲出現在金獎電影《戰地琴人》 ，改變真人真事波蘭鋼琴家Szpilman的自傳。史匹曼為二次大戰前最受矚目的鋼琴新秀，電影一開始，史匹曼於華沙電台彈奏蕭邦升c小調夜曲 ，而後幾顆炸彈爆破了電台，終止現場廣播，也從此開啟猶太人的流離死亡。然而，你知道這三首蕭邦名曲是哪些，他們又為什麼被導演選入電影嗎？

Do you know why there were only 3 scenes of piano playing in a pianistic movie? As the greatest Polish composer, Chopin’s 3 piano works were carefully chosen and featured in the award-winning movie THE PIANIST, based on the amazing true story of Wladyslaw Szpilman. At the start of the movie, Szpilman plays Chopin Nocturne in c# minor, only to be interrupted by street bombings which set off the beginning of the Holocaust. Do you know why the director Polanski chose these 3 Chopin works in particular, and what are their functions in the movie? In this video I will take you on a journey and explore Chopin in Movies
