I was just on the news on WXYZ ABC, Detroit talking about something extremely interesting.
When asked if, which product is healthier, cereal or pizza, most people would say cereal, right? B
But here are the facts. Cereal has lots of sugar, loaded with simply sugars that are empty calories. And usually when you do that, you have a crash during the day. Now pizza also isn't the greatest thing for you, but it has some protein, has some carbs and veggies as well. It depends on what type of pizza you have. It may be healthier than cereal. I'm not saying you should have pizza for breakfast.
For starters, make sure you get something for breakfast within an hour of waking up. Have something to get you going for the day. Also, make sure you have a piece of fruit of a veggie with your breakfast. For me, breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. You want to choose correctly. Please don't have pizza for breakfast, though.
Make healthy living a part of every day.
The bottom-line is that we can do a lot of good and change a lot the status of disease if we have the right information.
