It only takes a 5 minutes walk to move between Torrent de Pareis and Sa Calobra, and the walk is scenic and unique.

The tricky part is getting here from other parts of the spanish island. Sa Calobra and Torrent de Pareis are located in a secluded coastal area of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains.

There’s a few options to get here.

1) Drive
If you have a car, you can drive here on Europe’s MOST INSANE serpentine road. There are many view points or “Miradores” along the way where you can enjoy breathtaking views.
It takes around 1 hour 40 minutes to drive to Sa Calobra from Palma de Mallorca.

2) Hike
You can hike down the Torrent de Pareis canyon until you reach the Torrent de Pareis beach. But the hike is considered a difficult one, and in the rainy months there may be some swimming involved as well. Unexperienced people are highly encouraged to hire a guide.

3) Boat
You can come here with a tour boat. The boats sail from Port de Soller, a little port 30 minutes away from Palma de Mallorca.

4) Public transport
You can take a bus to Sa Calobra from Soller or from Pollenca. There is no direct transportation from Palma de Mallorca, though.

We warmly recommend visiting Torrent de Pareis, even in winter. This place has an eerie and magical aura that makes it one of the best beaches in Mallorca, and probably even one of the best beaches in Spain.

The scenery is among the most beautiful in Mallorca and the layout of this beach is unique not only in Spain, but probably in the whole world.
