Описание:
Shoulder Flexion to Elevation with Band is a standing Pilates resistance exercise that develops controlled mobility and strength through the anterior shoulder and upper thoracic region. Holding a resistance band between the hands, the arms lift forward and upward through shoulder flexion, gradually reaching towards overhead elevation while maintaining scapular control and spinal alignment.
The band provides light resistance, encouraging activation of the deltoids, serratus anterior, and deep postural muscles throughout the range. The standing position reinforces integrated core support and pelvic stability, ensuring the arms move in coordination with the rest of the body. This exercise is particularly valuable for improving overhead reach, enhancing shoulder mechanics, and retraining dynamic posture in clients recovering from shoulder dysfunction or rebuilding upper body range.
✨ Benefits:
Strengthens deltoids, serratus anterior, and scapular stabilisers
Improves overhead mobility and shoulder mechanics
Reinforces upright posture and thoracic lift
Builds coordinated upper body movement with core support
Ideal for rehabilitation and progressive strengthening
