Speaking after the latest round of talks in Muscat, Araghchi stressed that Iran’s missile programme is not up for discussion and reaffirmed Tehran’s right to peaceful nuclear energy, including uranium enrichment. He warned that continued sanctions and US military activity raise doubts about Washington’s commitment, even as President Masoud Pezeshkian called the talks a “step forward” amid rising regional tensions.
