'Call The Referee A Cheater': Amit Shah's Sharp Dig At Rahul Gandhi Over Vote Chori Claims | News18

Описание: Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a swipe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during the BJP's 'Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao' rally in Karnal, Haryana, using a childhood Kabaddi story to respond to the Opposition's allegations of electoral irregularities and 'vote chori'.

Recalling how his seventh-grade Kabaddi team repeatedly defeated the ninth-grade team, Shah narrated how the older students allegedly decided that instead of improving their game, they would simply call the referee a 'cheater'. Drawing a parallel with the current political confrontation, Shah suggested that Rahul Gandhi had adopted a similar approach by questioning the Election Commission and the electoral process.

His punchline was pointed: 'Refree ko hi cheater keh do, hamari jeet pakki ho jayegi' — effectively accusing the Opposition of blaming the referee rather than accepting electoral outcomes.
