The Red Thread Path
A quiet way back to yourself and the Sacred within
A simple guided meditation using a moving point to help the breath settle.
Before you begin the path, take a few minutes to arrive.
Still Point At-Home Flow
1. Arrive (2 minutes)
Sit comfortably.
Feet on the ground.
Unclench the jaw.
Let the shoulders fall.
Nothing to fix.
Nothing to achieve.
Just notice you are here.
Take one deeper breath than usual…
and allow the exhale to be longer than the inhale.
2. Ready — from thinking to sensing
As you breathe, gently say inside:
Here.
Not “I should”
Not “I need”
Just — here.
Let your body register safety in this moment.
3. Release — let the day loosen
With each long exhale imagine placing something down beside you:
a conversation
a responsibility
a tension you’ve been carrying
You don’t have to solve it.
You’re just not holding it right now.
4. Receive — follow the path
Now begin the labyrinth.
Let your eyes follow the red point as if your breath were walking.
No rushing to the centre.
No trying to feel spiritual.
Just travel.
If your mind wanders, gently return to the moving point —
like returning to a trail marker in the woods.
5. Rest — at the centre
When the path reaches the centre, pause.
Take three natural breaths.
You don’t need insight.
You don’t need words.
Simply be met.
6. Return — carry it outward
As the path opens outward again, let awareness widen to your room, your home, your life.
The same steadiness you felt for a moment
comes with you.
Breathe. Reset. Rise.
And as you go — walk slowly, listen deeply, speak gently, and receive the world with an open heart.
